WE ARE CHEESE EXPERTS
cheezy is a Gourmino company. It was founded in 2001 by 5 courageous cheesemakers who decided to go down unconventional paths and market their cheese craft themselves. Gourmino is still owned by the cheesemakers today, and will remain so in the future. In addition to artisan cheeses from our own village and mountain cheese dairies, we have grown into cheese aficionados in recent years. In Langnau, the heart of the Emmental, and in Reichenbach, at the foot of the Blüemlisalp massif, we refine various cheese specialties - from small soft cheeses to large Emmentaler. For us, everything revolves around cheese, which is why we call ourselves cheese experts.

As a cheese connoisseur, we want to make you happy with traditional artisan cheeses from selected, traditional cheese dairies. Their capacities are small, but sufficient for the processing of fresh milk from surrounding farms. This keeps transportation routes short, which in turn enables the processing of fresh, rich raw milk. We firmly believe that bigger is not always better.

Genuine cheese quality and variety is created, among other things, when the cheesemakers enjoy their work, when the farmers deliver fresh, rich raw milk from happy cows to the dairy and when they pass on their expertise from generation to generation.
With cheezy, we make a selected variety of cheeses available to cheese connoisseurs directly from the cheesemaker.

Cheese specialties from small-scale farms
Around 700 different types of cheese are produced in Switzerland. What do we look for in the cheezy selection? cheezy makes specialties from traditional village and mountain cheese dairies accessible to true cheese connoisseurs. True to the motto: From cheese connoisseur to cheese connoisseur. The products come partly from our own Gourmino cheese dairies as well as from third-party cheese dairies that follow the same philosophy of producing cheese as naturally as possible. These are small-scale operations where the cheesemaker himself stands at the vat and where the milk is processed from cows from nearby farms. The quantity of cheese produced is not primarily based on sales, but on availability. In this way, we ensure that the milk is fresh and of impeccable quality thanks to local processing.
