Tomato jam with tomme
Ingredients
- 250 g cherry tomatoes
- 200 g raw cane sugar
- 50 ml water
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- Sea salt
Preparation
Finely chop the garlic. Wash the sprig of rosemary, remove the leaves from the stalk and chop finely too. Then put all the ingredients except the sea salt into a pan and simmer everything on a medium heat for 1 hour until the sauce is thick or syrupy. Finally, season the jam with sea salt to taste.
This jam is generally excellent with cheese, but especially with soft cheese.
