Belongs to the summer like a real thunderstorm, but does not get its name from a summer thunderstorm. In fact, Gwitterchäs originated from a mishap that led to a real thunderstorm in the cheese dairy. The result of the mishap was this particularly strong and especially creamy mountain cheese.

The organic nut cracker from the Genusskäserei in Ruswil is appreciated and loved by cheese lovers. This is because of its exceptionally nutty taste and bite. Sternenberg is the highest community in the beautiful Zurich Oberland. The Preisig family has been producing cheese here in the traditional way for more than 50 years. The Sternenberger rezent is a cheese which is matured and maintained for 5 months. This gives it its full-bodied, spicy flavor.
