Red Tilsiter Switzerland is a classic among Swiss semi-hard cheeses. Connoisseurs appreciate it as a simple delicacy for a snack or as the basis for sophisticated cheese dishes. Franz Rüdisüli and Arnold Forrer's red Tilsiter won over the jury at this year's Swiss Cheese Awards. They produce the red raw milk Tilsiter in the traditional way at their cheese dairy in Rufi/Schänis.

Shipping

To guarantee fresh cheese, we pack our boxes on Monday and on Wednesday in our packaging facility. To ensure that our cheese arrives as fresh as possible, we pack your cheese pieces in an eco-cool bag and include frozen bottles of mineral water in your box. The boxes remain refrigerated until they are handed over to our shipping partner. Your cheezy cheese box is always delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays ready for the weekend! Select your desired delivery date in the calendar function in the shopping cart. As soon as your cheezy box is on its way, you will receive a confirmation with a track-and-trace number so that you can track your order at any time. If you are unable to receive your cheezy cheese box in person, it will be deposited in your milk locker.

Cooling note

Our cheeses are shipped in an eco-cool bag and with frozen cooling elements so that they stay cool on their way to your fridge. So that you can enjoy them for as long as possible, we recommend that you keep your cheese in the fridge at a maximum temperature of 5° Celsius. We also recommend that you enjoy them within around 7 days of unpacking. If you ever have too much cheese in stock, you can find here our tips for freezing cheese.
