History
As an independent and locally rooted traditional company, Seiler Käserei AG has been producing cheese specialties for almost 100 years, in which the culinary heritage of Central Switzerland and the Alpine region lives on. For our cheese, they only use natural raw materials without additives from the region. The milk comes from farms with controlled agriculture, directly from the slopes and valleys of the surrounding area. Some Seiler cheeses are also available in organic quality. Every piece of Seiler cheese contains the natural power of the mountains. Deep in the Giswilerstock, up to 90,000 wheels of cheese are stored and matured in the company's own cave cellar, especially for the legendary raclette. The old caverns above Lake Sarnen provide ideal conditions for the gentle maturing process, which can take up to twelve months.

In 2021, they were awarded the Golden Sun by Migros Lucerne as the best supplier of the year and in the same year also as a finalist in the Prix SVC Zentralschweiz.
